Plant Director

Job Description : FMCG PLANT DIRECTOR UK Role is open to all suitably qualified candidates with 25+ years experience in FMCG manufacturing and who are eligible for work permit You ensure the daily management and good execution of the operational priorities in the Plant. You guard over the production, safety, quality and maintenance of the site. You interact closely and effectively with the local management team and liaise with the Regional HQ’s in London and Paris. You prepare and develop the plant towards operational excellence in view of an increase in production volumes planned for Q4 this year. You manage and steer the team on the short & mid term planning for the site and follow up on its execution. You liaise and report to the EU Supply Chain Director You facilitate and steer the teams toward a cooperative mindset. You ensure the communication and planning between the teams is well governed and that a proactive attitude is further developed. You liaise with the sales executives to ensure your operations are aligned and prepared to ensure a client centric organization. You ensure that GMP regulations are safeguarded. You organise operational meetings and coaching sessions to bring the team to the next level. You have full P&L responsibility. The key qualifications required for this interim management job: You have a proven track record as Plant Director operations in the food or closely related sectors. You have strong leadership and excellent communication skills which allow you to ensure solid performance based on operational excellence. You have sufficient technical insight and a knowledge of complex production processes. You have an open and positive way of communicating and bring people together around a common goal. You have steered and motivated teams in a changing environment.
