Fleet Manager

Job Description : FLEET MANAGER ZAMBIA As a Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fleet operations to ensure efficiency, safety and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all vehicles in the fleet. Recruit, train and manage drivers. Monitor traffic conditions and adjust routes. Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers. Stay informed about regulatory changes and the industry's best practices. Communicate with warehouse staff and logistics coordinators and streamline operations. Adapt to changing priorities and support team members. Perform any other duties as assigned by management. Coordinate with maintenance staff and external service providers. Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance practices and regulations. Excellent leadership skills. Interpersonal skills. Proficiency in route planning and optimisation software. Financial management and budgeting skills. Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with safety regulations and risk management strategies. Bachelor's Degree in logistics, transportation management or related field. Certification in fleet management or related areas are advantageous. Proven experience in fleet management or related field.
