Vice President Transport

Job Description : VP TRANSPORT ONTORIO CANADA The role reports to the company President. The business includes an asset-based fleet , asset lease management , equipment sourcing and optimization . You will be responsible for responding to new business opportunities and promoting the company’s capabilities . You will be responsible for interaction with outside carriers and freight forwarders to identify growth opportunities and synergies to ensure leveraging of the most profitable model for the flow of goods across international borders while meeting customer needs/requirements . You should have 25+ years in a managerial position in an asset-based trucking fleet , along with exposure to a warehouse environment . Additionally, working knowledge of all Canadian and U.S. laws and regulations governing the over the road transportation industry is prefered. Experience in budget development and reporting financial results/performance is also important. An excellent compensation package accompanies this role.
