Responsibilities: - Oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing plant in Chennai, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality standards are met or exceeded. - Lead and mentor a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. - Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance, streamline processes, and drive cost savings. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, to achieve operational goals and deliver exceptional results. - Drive initiatives to enhance safety, compliance, and environmental sustainability throughout the plant. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. - Proven track record of success in automotive manufacturing, with at least 10+ years of experience in a leadership role. - Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization techniques. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and adapt to changing priorities.
