10 yearsJob Description : GM AUTO GHANA An Automotive General Manager oversees dealership operations, drives sales growth, and ensures customer satisfaction. Key tasks include strategic planning, team leadership, and financial management. Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to improve the profitability and efficiency of the dealership Lead and manage a team of department managers and staff to achieve sales and performance targets Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and company policies and procedures Oversee and manage all aspects of the dealership's operations, including sales, service, parts, and finance Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders Monitor and analyze market trends and adjust dealership operations and strategies accordingly Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and performance metrics Identify training and development needs for staff and ensure they receive necessary training to perform their roles effectively Requirements: At least 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a strong track record of successfully managing a team and driving sales growth. Deep knowledge of the automotive market and industry trends, as well as a solid understanding of dealership operations and financial management. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of employees at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational and financial issues in a timely and effective manner. A customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering high levels of customer satisfaction, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, with an MBA or other advanced degree preferred. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with dealership management systems and other automotive software programs. A proven ability to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and increase market share.
