Job Description : Production Manager (Expatriate) Location: Lagos, Nigeria Description: We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee our snack production operations in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing production lines, particularly producing extruded snacks, chips, and fried, and baked goods. As an expatriate, you will bring your expertise to ensure efficient production processes, maintain quality standards, and optimize resource utilization. Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day production activities, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation. - Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards. - Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations. - Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. - Supervise and train production staff to maintain high-performance levels. - Collaborate with other departments to address production-related issues and implement improvements. - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure a timely supply of materials. - Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and improvement. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. - Proven experience of at least 10 years in production management within the snack food industry. - Strong knowledge of extruded snacks, chips, fried, and baked production processes. - Excellent leadership and communication skills. - Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
