Job Description : Chief Operations Officer – Fiji for telecom Main responsibilities: Improve operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization’s mission Looking after the hub revenue reporting teams like Consumer, Marketing, Business Solutions, H&E, MADs and Carriers. Ultimately responsible to delivering the overall hub revenue targets in conjunction with market CEOs. Overseeing the business process optimization as well as the procurement team. Working with the CFO, oversee long-term budgetary planning and monitoring in alignment with the strategic plan Support and advise the Regional CEO, keeping the CEO informed of all critical issues Provide effective and inspiring leadership by being actively involved in, and having deep knowledge of, organizations operations. Develop a performance culture Represent the organization when requested, ensuring proper representation of organizational priorities. Develop and strengthen productive relationships with partners/clients and government relations Oversee contract management and legal compliance matters Identify essential third-party vendors, negotiate agreements, review contracts, set and monitor expectations, and build strong relationships Skills, qualifications and experience: Degree in Business Administration/ Finance or Commerce Minimum of 5 or more year’s leadership experience in a similar role. General knowledge of the global marketplace to effectively understand the changing marketing dynamics and its impact on the local market. Solid experience in managing budgets.
