Senior Manager

Job Description : Senior Manager - Supply & Material reports to Director, Supply and Material with the day to day operational execution of all Supply and Materials Department activities for our semi government client including materials planning and analysis, internal training, and administration. Provides input to the Director, Supply and Materials on strategic and tactical direction, coaching and the development of junior managers and technical staff. Ensures the process is maintained within the latest ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System standards. Salary - AED350,000 to AED.375,000PA Location - Abu Dhabi RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist the Director, Supply and Materials to develop and maintain the strategic planning process based on program goals and corporate strategies. * Oversee the General Maintenance Corps (GMC) program Authorised Stockage List (ASL) for all stores. * Review the Annual Service Plan (ASP) spares requirements and facilitate the preparation of the annual maintenance plan. * Ensure that the storage and disposal of all hazardous materials is in accordance with all environmental directives and host country regulations. * Perform quality work as part of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System program. * Provide input to the Director, Supply and Material on strategic and tactical direction, coaching and the development of junior managers and technical staff. * Ensure the strategic direction and operations of the stores is in line with the overall company goals and values. * Direct the annual review of Department policies, procedures and practices. * Ensure the Supply and Materials Department is in compliance with all contract requirements. * Ensure that the appropriate training and development needs of Supply and * Ensure that all stores maintain the highest standards of housekeeping, safety, hazardous material storage and property accountability. * Perform other duties as directed by the Director, Supply and Material. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor degree in Business, Logistics or a related field required Master degree preferred, or Equivalent years of Experiences in same field * A minimum of eight to ten years of experience managing a team in logistics or supply operations is required. * Previous military and/or automotive experience is an advantage. * Previous experience using a CMMS such as MAXIMO, SAP etc. is preferred. * Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and ISO methodologies, practices and processes in a supply setting is an advantage.
