Job Description : Engineering Stores Incharge - Transformer Industry NEED CANDIDATES ONLY FROM TRANSFORMER INDUSTRY WITH 15+ YEARS EXPERIENCE Location: United Arab Emirates (UAE) Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and organized Engineering Stores Incharge to join our team in the transformer industry in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the inventory and logistics operations of engineering stores, ensuring the availability of materials, tools, and equipment required for transformer manufacturing and maintenance processes. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of engineering materials and equipment. Responsibilities: 1. Inventory Management: o Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and replenishment requirements. o Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of materials and spare parts. o Implement efficient inventory control measures to minimize stock shortages and excess inventory. 2. Logistics Coordination: o Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. o Oversee the receiving and inspection of incoming materials to verify quality and quantity. o Arrange for the safe and efficient storage of materials, optimizing warehouse space utilization. 3. Material Handling: o Organize and label materials and spare parts for easy identification and retrieval. o Implement proper handling and storage procedures to prevent damage or deterioration of materials. o Monitor the movement of materials within the facility and ensure compliance with safety regulations. 4. Documentation and Reporting: o Generate regular reports on inventory levels, consumption rates, and procurement activities. o Maintain accurate documentation of all transactions, including receipts, issuances, and transfers. o Analyze data trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. 5. Team Collaboration: o Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to understand their material requirements. o Provide support and assistance to other departments in sourcing materials and resolving supply chain issues. o Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement within the engineering stores department. Requirements: · Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. · Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering industry. · Strong knowledge of engineering materials, tools, and equipment used in transformer manufacturing. · Familiarity with inventory management software and ERP systems. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. · Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. · Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
