Job Description : GLOBAL OPERATIONS MANUFACTURING HEAD FOR CHEMICALS NORTH INDIA 25-30 years experience We are looking for Global Operations Head/ Global Head Manufacturing/ COO for a chemical manufacturing MNC based in India. The candidate shall must have previous exposure of working with Chemicals company only. Industry- Chemicals (Inks & Adhesives) Position: Director Operations/ Global Operations Head Experience: 25+ yrs. Remuneration -Negotiable Location: Delhi NCR Reporting- CEO Job Description: - Head-Manufacturing operations, leading a direct team of functional managers (Production, Maintenance, QC & Engineering) and a team of plant operators. - Will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the manufacturing and distribution facility. - Primary focus is to plan, organize and direct the manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, maintenance and logistics in a manner which assures the most effective return on assets employed. - Leading the entire operations inclusive of Sourcing, Production, Maintenance, Product Development, Quality & ISO, HR, Finance & Accounts, Warehousing & Logistics, Sales & Marketing, EHS, Regulatory Affairs & Compliance. - Directing complete plant activities as per the goals of organization; developing new initiatives to create Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to support the strategic directions &SOP to ensure maximum capacity utilization for overall productivity. - Liaising with top management for evolving strategic vision, driving change, infusing new ideas and taking business performance and productivity to the next level. - Reducing operational costs, effectively distributing workload, and implementing quality control procedures. - Formulating operating budgets, tracking & reviewing budget milestones, optimizing generation costs through proper load plan and performing variance analysis. - Restructuring and fixing the departmental KRAs/KPIs (Production, Procurement, Maintenance, Quality, Sales and Other dept.) in accordance with defined processes and procedures. - Indulging in P&L review and profitability improvements through implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. - Planning workflow & schedules for Production Department, monitoring production status & ensuring timely delivery & reduction in PM wastages; identifying delays & adjusting schedules to meet deadlines. - Establishing and building strong relations with key stakeholders/Govt. for seamless working; delivering support related to the formulation of QA, Production, Engineering, Purchase, Admin, Health & Safety Management.
