Job Description : Director - Accounting, Tax & Treasury LONDON UK Looking for suitably qualified International candidates As part of the global senior leadership team, this is a pivotal role for the group, within which you will have the opportunity to take on the following remit • Preparation of statutory accounting, annual reports in line with UK GAAP • Development of US GAAP compliant accounting activities and management of • Lead the preparation of the annual report and accounts in accordance with UK GAAP. • Lead the development of a full set of consolidated management accounts for the three financial statements - P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow. • Oversight of all balance sheet reporting as well as management of the risks and opportunities • Oversight of inter company accounting processes across the group, working with markets and offshore accounting team to ensure that all postings are compliant with the transfer pricing policy set by the tax team • Act as the accounting subject matter expert for the group and able to write technical accounting papers, advising on the right accounting treatment of current and new transactions in a fast paced environment • Develop and maintain a robust, documented Internal Control policies environment to minimise financial risks or the group • Leadership of tax planning, tax policies and compliance across all entities • Ensuring that the global tax operating model is fit for purpose and provide effective oversight of all corporate & indirect tax compliance and advisory activities • Ownership of transfer pricing policies for the group, ensuring they are both commercially and operationally robust • Manage budget for external spend for tax compliance and advisory • Lead treasury operations, including cash and liquidity management, systems and control environment • Continuous improvement of treasury policies, processes and systems. • Be the finance lead on corporate projects as required e.g entity mergers, liquidation, cash repatriation You will also play a key role in driving on going finance change management project to ensure systems and processes remain streamlined and effective from a global perspective. We are seeking top talent -qualified finance team who possess 10 years relevant post qualified experience upwards and are completely open in terms of sector background Previous experience of group accounting, tax and treasury are all required, ideally gained within a multinational business. The successful post holder will be driven and have the capable to push forward global projects; work collaboratively within a fast paced, eve evolving positive environment
