Job Description : MD SPAIN This role is open to all Spanish speaking candidates worldwide General Director - Automotive Sector (Tier 1) As General Manager in our Tier 1 Automotive sector in Catalonia, you will have the primary responsibility of leading and managing all company operations, ensuring sustainable growth, profitability and overall success of the business. You will strategically direct all key functions, from production to sales, maintaining a focus on product quality, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company's strategic vision, aligned with corporate objectives and automotive market trends. Lead long-term planning and establish clear goals and objectives for each department and team. Operational Management: Oversee all daily operations, including production, supply chain, quality and logistics. Ensure operational efficiency and optimization of resources to meet quality standards and delivery times. Business development: Identify growth and diversification opportunities in the automotive market, establishing solid relationships with existing and potential clients. Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies for market penetration and expansion of the customer portfolio. Financial management: Oversee the company's financial management, including budgets, cost analysis, financial forecasts and risk management. Ensure short- and long-term profitability by implementing effective financial measures and cost control. Personnel management: Direct and motivate a multifunctional team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment. Provide professional guidance and development to team members, ensuring a talented and engaged workforce. Demonstrated previous experience in senior management positions in the automotive sector, preferably in Tier 1 companies. In-depth knowledge of the automotive market, including trends, emerging technologies and key competitors. Proven skills in strategic leadership, operational management and business development. Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills. Ability to make effective decisions in high-pressure environments and adapt quickly to market changes. Academic training in engineering, business administration or other related fields; An MBA or similar degree will be an advantage. Location: Catalonia, Spain
