Chief Accountant

Job Description : CHIEF ACCOUNTANT KENYA A leading retailer of of home accessories is hiring for a Chief Accountant to join their firm. Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries. Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed. Responsible for the preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and reports required by regulatory agencies. Responsible for Inventory & Fixed Asset Counts. Coordination of company accounts/financial audits. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred. Thorough understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (GAAP, IFRS, etc.). Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with [specific software] preferred. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable insights.
