Job Description : GROUP FC CHRISTCHURCH NEW ZEALAND ( OPEN TO INTERNATIONAL CANDIDATES) As the Group Financial Controller, you will be entrusted with the management of all financial and accountancy operations, encompassing financial transactions, reporting, auditing, payroll, as well as the formulation of internal control policies and procedures. As the Group Financial Controller at RHCNZ, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all finance and accountancy operations. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate monthly accountancy reports are delivered punctually. Your attention to detail will enable you to provide comprehensive commentary on these results. You will also supervise statutory reporting and manage annual audits. This role requires a high level of commitment to efficiency in managing working capital and owning internal controls. Oversee all accountancy operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Revenue Recognition Ensure accurate and timely monthly accountancy and reporting of results. Provide comprehensive commentary and analysis of results, identifying key variances and drivers of performance. Supervise statutory reporting, including technical accountancy papers. Manage annual audit and take responsibility for audit and risk committee meetings. Consolidate group result and manage inter-company adjustments. Handle share-based payments accountancy and impairment testing. Manage tax calculations, reporting and annual tax returns (including deferred tax). Efficiently manage working capital and own internal controls and processes. Lead payroll function ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with legislation. Own ELT business partnering. Accountable to Audit and Risk Committee for statutory reporting and much more Exposure to a wide variety of commercial work within a Company that’s very much in growth mode. Mandate to achieve leaps forward in process improvement and automation for the Finance function. qualification in Accountancy or Finance, or equivalent. CA/ACA certification with a demonstrable commitment to ongoing professional development 8 - 10 years’ experience in financial management at a senior level in a large complex organisation. 3-5 years’ experience as Financial Controller at a senior level in a large complex organisation. Strong leadership skills with experience building highly engaged teams. Experience with leading change and rolling out a continuous improvement mindset. Comfortable analysing data into meaningful insights Excellent verbal/oral communication skills with strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders. High proficiency in all MS Office applications, familiarity with at least one large ERP.
