10 yearsJob Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR UAE Finance Director Position Overview: The Finance Director of Healthcare will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring the fiscal health of the organization, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role involves managing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements specific to the healthcare industry Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives. Oversee the preparation and management of annual budgets and forecasts. Conduct financial analysis and modeling to inform strategic planning and decision-making. 2. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Monitor financial performance against budget and forecasts, providing regular updates to the executive team. Oversee the management of cash flow, capital, and investments. 3. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including healthcare-specific requirements. Manage internal and external audits and implement recommendations to improve financial controls. Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the organization's financial stability. 4. Implement and oversee financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Manage cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for cost savings. 5. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental and organizational goals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. 6. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team and board of directors. Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies. Communicate financial performance and strategic initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the healthcare industry. Strong knowledge of healthcare finance, including revenue cycle management, reimbursement, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as ERP and EHR systems. In-depth knowledge of Diagnosis-Related Groups (DRG) and the healthcare system is essential.
