Financial Controller

Job Description : Financial Controller OMAN Oman | Full time | Salary: 3,000 OMR Duties & Responsibilities: o Establish and maintain robust internal controls for accounting cycles, inventory, and fixed assets. o Ensure accurate recording and safeguarding of company fixed assets. o Support implementation and maintenance of I2C and Fixed Asset function. o Manage authorizations and competitive bidding processes. o Reconcile fixed asset listings with the general ledger regularly. o Oversee proper receiving, tagging, and insurance of assets. o Monitor and report on capital expenditure tracking. o Verify invoice accuracy and authorization before payment. o Manage the purchase orders, requisitions, and invoices process. o Ensure compliance with company policies in processing fixed asset invoices. o Conduct physical counts and verification of fixed assets. o Monitor and report on the status of insurance claims. o Perform quarterly reconciliation with insurance company. o Ensure projects exceeding 10% over budget receive additional approval per DOA. o Coordinate with audit team as needed. Candidate Profile: Requirements: o Professional degree in finance (CA/CFA/ACCA will be preferred) or Master Degree o 5+ years of related experience required in Facilities Management co. o Proficiency in IFRS and ERP solutions (preferably JDE). Skills/Competencies: o Excellent communication skills. o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. o Proficient in MS Office or similar software. o Attention to detail and accuracy. o Effective relationship-building and influencing skills. o Ability to interact effectively with senior management. o Teamworking ability.
