This role is nestled in the lively city of Taipei. The triumphant candidate will be entrusted with supervising daily operations, crafting strategies, and propelling business growth within the OTC sector. This role presents an outstanding platform to exhibit your profound knowledge of the OTC industry, your strategic acumen, and your capacity to lead and motivate a team. * Steer and manage sales and marketing teams in the OTC sector * Craft and execute short- and long-term marketing & sales plans * Engage with cross-functional leaders in broader organisational strategic planning As the Head of Business Unit for Over-The-Counter products, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of our OTC division. Your leadership skills will be instrumental in supervising daily operations, managing budgets, and leading a high-performing team. You will craft innovative strategies that drive growth and meet financial targets. Your ability to anticipate future trends will enable you to recommend proactive business solutions that cater to our clients' long-term needs. Your role will also involve overseeing marketing strategies, facilitating sales agreements, collaborating on new business development initiatives, and reporting key results to senior management. * Supervise daily operations of sales and marketing teams, managing departmental operating budget and costs to optimise the business operation * Craft the strategies to development both short and long term marketing & sales plans to achieve financial results * Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports * Lead annual negotiations with key clients, including annual target, investments and renewal, to facilitate sales agreements and achieve targeted margins * Anticipate future direction and needs of clients or brands, proactively recommending business solutions to meet all stakeholders’ long term business needs * Collaborate with Business Development team to strengthen commercial proposals, finalise negotiation for commercial terms for new business development The ideal candidate for the Head of Business Unit, Over-The-Counter Products role is a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of the OTC industry. You bring to the table advanced knowledge of marketing strategies, advertising and promotion, regulatory requirements, and channel strategy within this sector. Your excellent communication and negotiation skills will be crucial in driving our business forward. Your fluency in English, both written and spoken, will enable you to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Your proven experience in managing budgets, anticipating future trends, leading negotiations, and collaborating on new business development initiatives will be key to your success in this role. * Advanced knowledge and understanding of the OTC industry/market/competitors/customers/consumers * Proven experience in crafting and implementing marketing strategies within the OTC industries * Strong leadership skills with experience in managing high-performing teams * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Fluency in English, both written and spoken * Experience in budget management and cost control * Experience in leading annual negotiations with key clients * Experience in collaborating on new business development initiatives
