Job Description : Senior Director for their Global Regulatory Policy and Strategy team in the Asia Pacific region This role is based out of Singapore .The successful candidate will have the chance to effect and lead policy change in the region and beyond, making a significant impact on patient outcomes, reducing regulatory risk, and improving efficiency in drug development. As a Senior Director for Global Regulatory Policy and Strategy in the Asia Pacific region, you will be at the forefront of leading science-based and efficient global regulatory policy initiatives. You will be responsible for developing policy positions that positively impact regulatory convergence across various regions. Your role will involve collaborating cross-functionally to progress regulatory policies supportive of our innovation strategy. You will also perform stakeholder analyses to understand external perspectives on key policy priorities. This role requires a proactive individual who can track, monitor, provide analysis of relevant regulatory policies as directed by management. Support multiple policy campaigns across primary geographies of regulatory policy responsibility Positively impact regulatory convergence in the Asia-Pacific region and harmonisation across both regional and global regulators. Anticipate, identify, and solve complex policy technical issues affecting the functional business area or long-term regulatory policy environment. Develop input to enhance current and draft regulations, guidelines, free trade agreements, and public consultations. Collaborate cross-functionally to progress regulatory policies supportive of regulatory science and innovation strategy. Perform stakeholder analyses to understand external perspectives on key policy priorities. Track, monitor, provide analysis of relevant regulatory policies as directed by management. Lead the development and implementation of tactical policy plans. The ideal candidate for the Senior Director, Global Regulatory Policy and Strategy role will bring a wealth of experience in regulatory policy within a relevant government agency or company. Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in relevant policy, public health, regulatory, clinical, legal, business, research or related field; Masters or doctorate preferred. Five years of prior regulatory and/or regulatory policy experience within a relevant government agency or company. Strong interpersonal skills Ability to travel within the region and beyond to attend meetings. Independence, resourcefulness, influence without authority. Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
