Vice President Finance

Job Description : Vice President of Finance Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Location: Hyderabad Company Overview leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to improving global health through the development, manufacture, and distribution of innovative and high-quality pharmaceutical products. Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s business objectives and long-term growth plans. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team for strategic planning, decision-making, and operational efficiency. Lead financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other strategic initiatives. Financial Planning and Analysis Oversee the development of annual operating budgets, long-term strategic plans, and financial forecasts. Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to inform business strategies and decisions. Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying and addressing variances. Financial Reporting and Compliance Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Manage relationships with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions. Risk Management and Internal Controls Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets. Identify, assess, and manage financial risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place. Oversee the treasury function, including cash flow management, investments, and debt financing. Leadership and Team Development Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives. Promote a culture of transparency, integrity, and ethical behavior within the finance function. Qualifications Education and Experience Should be CA. Minimum of 20 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Salary offered Up to 1.25 Cr.P.A
