IT Project Manager

Job Description : Project manager – IT Contract - Long Term Location - Dubai Key Responsibilities: · Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure clear understanding of project goals, status, and deliverables. Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders. Agile Methodology Implementation: Apply Agile principles to manage project tasks and workflows. Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Utilize Atlassian Products: Use Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, Trello) for project tracking, documentation, and collaboration. Customize and optimize these tools to enhance project management processes. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges. Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources, ensuring optimal use of personnel and tools. Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure resource availability and project success. Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget. Implement quality control processes as necessary. Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets. Monitor expenses and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation. Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and executive management. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams. Foster a collaborative and high performance culture. Required Qualifications: Experience: 10 years of experience in project management, preferably within a SaaS or IT environment. Atlassian Proficiency: Extensive experience with Atlassian products, including JIRA, Confluence, and Trello. Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile principles and practices. Proven experience in implementing Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Project Management Skills: Strong knowledge of project management techniques and best practices. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred. Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle, and SaaS platforms. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
