Group Finance Controller

Job Description : GROUP FC TAIWAN Group Financial Controller to play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance of their organisation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to implement effective financial strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to the overall success of the company. The successful candidate will work closely with the executive leadership team, providing strategic financial insights and recommendations. Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to drive business growth Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive team Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with accounting standards Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting activities Manage cash flow and liquidity to support daily operations and strategic initiatives Identify and assess financial risks, develop strategies to mitigate them, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development Collaborate with key stakeholders, including executives, board members, and external partners Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required CPA or CMA certification is required; CFA is preferred Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role is essential Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations is necessary Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills are needed Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills are vital Experience in due diligence on mergers & acquisitions or IPO listing preparations is beneficial Experience in MNCs and companies with overseas operations and group consolidation with offshore entities is advantageous Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders is important
