Production Planning Manager

Job Description : PRODUCTION PLANNING MANAGER VIETNAM Oversee Production Planning department as whole, including but not limited to defining team strategy, tracking performance against key deliverable, enabling team growth and expansion as well as personal team member development * Achieve continuous improvement in key materials metrics and deliver excellent customer service support to related stakeholders * Responsible for the management, leadership and development of the Planning Department within a local Site * Devise and execute new production planning strategies. * Review and manage capacity modules and schedules. * Ensures material liability coverage and master schedule data integrity. * Track and closely monitor Objective and Key Performance results of the team in charge. * Ensure robust processes and documentation such as procedures and work instructions are implemented and maintained. * Perform department P&L management responsibility * Study market performance and revenue trends for plant production and provides updates/advice to BOM. * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. * Strong command of global and regional logistics operations and industry know-hows. * Well-versed in logistics requirements to achieve company's business goals and strategic objectives * Effective in execution with ability to set stellar example and lead from the front * Sharp financial and analytic ability. Proficiency in monitoring business metrics to determine optimum company footprint. * Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes, together with global customs regimes. * Proven track record of successful change management, spearheading and executing continuous productivity and cost reduction projects. * Strong and convincing communication skills. * Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent; MBA preferred but not required. * Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply/Materials planning including 6 years in a management role. * Advanced MS Excel and good knowledge of MS Office * APICS/NAPM certification preferred but not required.
