General Manager 

Job Description : GM TANZANIA FOR LUBRICANTS Preparing and reviewing annual budget for lubricant Interacting with colleagues to discuss product strategy, technical support, value added solution supervising the whole product distribution process. meeting with suppliers and other stake holders, coordinate and negotiate with them. supervise company brand shop b) Production Engage in stock and production batch material and reconciliation Monitor and ensure adequate stock of packaging/raw materials are available to meet the set production targets. Coordinate operations activities in selected plant: Production Planning (blending and filling). Supervise all production activities of Blending, Filling, Packaging c) Marketing Develops and implements the relevant department/business strategies to meet the companys set business objectives Drive the development of local capability/competence in the lubricant team Achieve targets on sales volumes, commercial contribution, integrated contribution, direct costs and working capital in line with the plan. Strengthen and grow the Brand equity in the Country and Ensure that products are the preferred choice in the market Grow market share by supporting the design and implementation of suitable sales and marketing strategies Identify and deliver opportunities for business growth Cultivate and leverage opportunities for growth within the existing network of Customers, Distributors and Trade partners Develop and maintain long term commercial relationships with key accounts and distributors Maintain the lubricants business agenda as a top priority within the country and with the country Management Team Drive the achievement of COMPANY growth ambitions in Lubricants Grow Lubricants profitability for the Company Implement a strong value chain (both fixed and variable) discount process Improve competence levels across the organization and sales effectiveness of the sales force Drive synergy between the businesses and operations A university degree, preferably in Engineering or Business Management or Marketing or equivalent. KNOWLEDGE OF LUBRICANT BUSINESS IS ESSENTIAL Working experience in East African Countries is a plus. Minimum of 15 years of sales management experience/leading and managing teams. Strong experience in route to market concept Strong experience in indirect/B2C sales channel and distributorship Strong understanding of pricing management Ability to analyse and develop proposals and solutions to a wide range of technical, operational and business issues/challenges. Understanding of consumer insight and market dynamics Good communicator, both written and oral.
