Job Description : CEO MAURITIUS prominent life insurance company in Mauritius Job Description Responsibilities: Financial Lead the effective implementation of strategic objectives and future forecasts, as approved by the Board of the company Ensure a safe solvency margin Ensure a close watch on Customer feedback, Liquidity and investment returns, Sales and manage cost in an effective manner Ensure that the actuarial functions in respect of the Insurance and Pensions business are effectively managed Customer Propose and advise to the Board of innovative, prospective developments to enhance our value proposition Ensure quality and customer focus, in line with strategy Build a strong company reputation and branding, to attract customers, employees and shareholders Processes Lead the development of the company's overall management systems (Finance, operations, HR, etc.) Ensure regulatory and legislative compliance to safeguard the company to any risks Ensure regular and timely reporting to Board and relevant committees Drive change successfully within prescribed time-frames People Lead and build a committed, capable and engaged workforce Ensure an effective business continuity plan and succession plan is in place Promote the Employee Value Proposition for talent acquisition and retentionMeasurable Deliverable: New Business Sales and Premium Income Employee Engagement Score Customer Engagement Score The Successful Applicant Holder of a Management post-graduate degree or equivalent A senior leader within the Life Insurance sector, or another relevant sector, with at least five year's experience within a senior leadership role Comprehensive package tailored to the candidate's experience and expertise Relocation assistance provided Two-year contract
