Project Director 

Job Description : PROJECT DIRECTOR OMAN FOR RAILWAY PROJECT 25+ years experience Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Masters Degree in Engineering is highly desirable PMP certified would be preferred. 20+ years experience in a Construction firm and strong experience in managing high profile Infra structure projects/ highway projects. Construction of Railway projects is mandatory requirement. Competencies / Skills Excellent Negotiation and Persuasive skills Man-Management skills Contract & Project Management Excellent Communication skills Outstanding needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing skills Roles and Responsibilities Spearheading for successful execution of the Projects with agreed margins by coordinating with all Internal & External Stake Holders. Manage the project resources to achieve the targeted objective by implementing a variety of project processes within the established budget in order to ensure technical and quality and HSE compliance. Strategic : Develop project strategies for timely execution within the budget, quality, safety and schedule Financial : Monitor, review and ensure finance receivables and related recovery activities are completed on time for timely processing Take responsibility for profit and loss of the project Operational : Budgeting & Planning Oversee the project in order to ensure proper adherence and timely completion of all work orders as per agreed project terms & contracts and Client requirements Review project execution from all reporting sections and give recommendations to ensure best practices are followed and implemented at all project sites Monitor utilization of assets, review asset performance and determine ways to better utilize assets available, identify new assets required or relocation of assets to ensure optimum asset utilization and valuation Coordinate with management and all the departments by integrating all the relevant information to ensure effectiveness in all the operations. Review generated MIS reports as per the management request to ensure the management is well informed. Review and approve policies, process, systems and standard operating procedures pertaining to business operations and their adherence to ensure that policies, processes and systems are followed by all staff personnel Ensure the Heath, Safety & Environment standards are followed as per the required HSE standards. Experience in Delay analysis using primavera software with as planned impact method, time impact and time slice window analysis methods. Progress monitoring using primavera software with S curve and earned value analysis. People Management : Managing the organizations resources effectively, ensures that the company has the best personnel to complete job tasks. Monitor the performance of the entire team to ensure the desired output is acquired or else make necessary recommendations for the deviations. Handle conflict amongst the team to ensure smooth operations. Initiate training programmes for the employees to enhance the image of Company's employees. Train, Coach, Guide & Develop the manpower for the desired output to ensure high level of efficiency. Coordinate with other department of the organisation, Client and attend meetings internal and external.
