Senior Accountant

Job Description : SENIOR ACCOUNTANT SIERRA LEONE Oversee all aspects of the financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. Calculate and analyze the cost of imported items, including product cost, freight charges, customs duties, taxes, and other related expenses. Maintain accurate costing records and pricing databases for imported items, ensuring consistency and integrity of data. Perform financial audits of client accounts to verify accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards. Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes to optimize financial performance. Collaborate with department heads to analyze financial data and provide strategic insights for decision-making. Assist in the development of pricing strategies and cost models for imported products. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to import costing. Bachelor's/Master degree in Accounting, MBA-Finance, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
