Section Head

Job Description : Technical Services Section Head with a leading Petrochemical & Fertilizer Company. NIGERIA Role & responsibilities · To ensure availability of all equipment and related items. · To analyze process data and identify new opportunities. · To be responsible for completion and documentation of process engineering activities. · To supervise technical staff, and coordinate with other department heads to ensure proper resolution of company/client problems/failures. · To provide adequate support to colleagues and ensure sufficient technical training is made available. · To coordinate internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with all safety processes. · To guide the team and ensure HSEF objectives are met in line with prescribed guidelines. · To develop and deploy HSE procedures, training, internal and external communications at the department level. · To be the custodian of process safety systems like HAZOP, SIL, MOC, FIR-FAR Systems. · To mentor and motivate technical staff to deliver timely and high quality services to customers. · To maintain documentation and proper records of all departmental processes and decisions taken. · To monitor the performance of the department. · To ensure compliance with PME/OSHAS/IMS/BSC guidelines and ensure implementation at department level · Should have Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering. · 15-20 years of experience in a Petrochemical/Fertilizer or related industry with at least 5 years experience of experience in a similar position. · Experience in polymers-PE/PP & olefins/cracker is required · Knowledge of the petrochemical processes and technologies. · Knowledge of Engineering Standards, regulations & Technology trends
