Job Description : SUPPLY CHAIN PROGRAM DIRECTOR AUSTRALIA This role is open to suitably qualified candidates worldwide with company ready to support relocation An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Program Director to lead the development and construction of a new, state-of-the-art factory. The successful candidate will have extensive supply chain management experience, and play a critical role in translating business requirements into overall program outcomes, working closely with the Design and Construct Project Manager to ensure that the vision and business case are incorporated into project plans. The successful candidate will play a critical role in translating business requirements into overall program outcomes, working closely with the Design and Construct Project Manager to ensure that the vision and business case are incorporated into project plans. Lead the development of a $130m new, state-of-the-art factory Play a critical role in translating business requirements into overall program outcomes Contribute to significant improvements in technical capability, innovation, customer responsiveness, sustainability, and competitiveness As Program Director for this new factory build, you will be at the forefront of an ambitious growth journey. Your leadership skills will be crucial in guiding a project team towards achieving their objectives. You will work closely with various stakeholders including architects, engineers, government officials and contractors to ensure timely delivery of this state-of-the-art factory. Your ability to plan and support the commissioning of the new factory will be vital. With your proactive approach, you will identify potential risks early on and take necessary steps to mitigate them. This role requires excellent communication skills as you will provide regular updates on project status to senior leaders. Lead a project team and ensure their objectives align with the business program Collaborate with the business Project Manager to translate business requirements into design specifications Manage the process of obtaining appropriate approvals and compliance from Local and State Government and other external bodies Oversee external architects, engineering firms, and building companies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of the project Plan and support the commissioning of the new factory, including resolving commissioning issues Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Lead program governance through monthly SteerCo’s Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, quality standards, and safety regulations Proactively identify and mitigate risks that may impact project delivery Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators
