Job Description : PLASTIC PRODUCTION MANAGER NIGERIA 15+ years experience 1) Overall in-charge for works activities in Roto & PVC sections of company. 2) Plan to execute production of Unit. 3) Looking into the Quality parameters of production. 4) To co-ordinate the production activities with sales team and plan production. 5) To ensure growth of the plant. 6) Target to implement ISO 9001:2015 Quality management system by end of 2021. Duties of this role: Review the production report of Unit- Roto & PVC Pipes Division. Ensure the Operating efficiency, Rejection %, machine break down% are achieved as per the KPIs defined. Ensure to participate and guide the team in trouble shooting and successfully resolving problems related to molds/dies, processing problem, material formulation problems. Ensure that all the machineries and ancillary equipment's in the plant are maintained in most optimum condition. Review the stock position of the FG and RM. Ensuring Planning and scheduling of machines based on the sales plan in co-ordination with Sales team. Ensure quality control processes are strictly followed. Make improvements in processs and quality check based on customer’s feedback. Planning for the RM and consumable material. Planning of new Moulds and materials. Ensure moving item are available in store planed accordingly. Planning for the new and replacement mould/dye. Ensure all the grinded materials are reused in production. Ensure the contract staffs are present according to the requirement. If not complete coordinate with contractor. Schedule annual leave for the permanent staff leave. Ensure to follow procedures in addressing discipline issues and grievances of the staff. Managing factory and staff quarters repairs. Co-ordinate with maintenance department for schedule maintenance of utilities like generators, Air compressors and so on. Participate in New product developments—which may include modifying existing molds, ordering of new molds. Ensure all masters of Item, mold, BOM’s, consumables, WorkCentre’s are updated. Ensure all Data entry required for ERP is done on time. Ensure all review monthly- quarterly reports of operation are submitted on time. Knowledge and Experience Graduate/ Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Having 15 years of experience in a large Roto molding plants. Experience of working in PVC pipe plant will be an added advantage. Knowledge in machine maintenance both in mechanical & electrical problem trouble shooting. Knowledge of mould maintenance. Skills and Attributes Critically looking into areas where change can take place for better performance in the department. Capable of working independently and with minimum supervision Having a good communication skill with all levels in an organization, training skills and knowledge for getting work done in an organization Logical approach to identify and evaluating issues and problem solving
