Job Description : CFO AUSTRLAIA a privately owned transport & logistics company in Laverton, and they are seeking a talented CFO to make an impact! Established for coming up on 30 years they have experienced significant national growth with a payroll of over 130 staff Aus wide. The tenure of the experienced leadership team and the multiple awards for employee tenure visible by a full wall of plaques and photos when you walk into reception of 15, 20 and 25 years is a true testament to their belief that people make their business. As the first CFO for the organisation, due to growth, your key objective will be to shape the financial future by developing and executing strategic plans that align with growth expectations. You will drive profitability through cost control, revenue enhancement and efficient financial operations. You will safeguard the organisation's financial health by assessing risks and implementing robust controls. As a privately run, family-owned organisation, your ability to work within and navigate the family dynamic reporting directly to the Managing Director is crucial. Degree qualified in Finance, Business, Commerce or Accounting and CA / CPA qualified you will be an experienced CFO or Senior Finance executive ideally with familiarity in the transport and logistics sector. You will demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail and have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills internally and externally, as well as proven leadership abilities to manage a small team which will grow over time.
