15 yearsJob Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR THAILAND ( OPEN TO EXPATS) The Finance Director for our packaging manufacturing company plays a pivotal role in financial management, reporting directly to the Group CFO. This position will oversee and coordinate financial activities with the accounting shared service center, focusing primarily on financial analysis, budgeting, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) activities. Key Responsibilities: Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes. Collaborate with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial plans. Ensure alignment of budgets with strategic goals and operational requirements. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Support the Group CFO in evaluating potential M&A opportunities. Conduct financial due diligence and feasibility analysis for acquisition targets. Assist in negotiations, financial structuring, and integration planning post-acquisition. Coordination with Accounting Shared Service: Partner with the accounting shared service center to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions. Oversee financial reporting and compliance activities performed by the shared service team. Streamline processes and improve efficiencies in financial operations. Financial Strategy and Compliance: Contribute to the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies. Implement internal controls and best practices to safeguard company assets. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within manufacturing or packaging industries. Strong financial analysis skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques. Experience in mergers & acquisitions, including due diligence and integration processes. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Personal Attributes: Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of financial information.
