General Manager Production

Job Description : GM PRODUCTION ZAMIA The General Manager Production is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the snack food division in factory in Lusaka, Zambia. This includes overseeing all aspects of production, maintenance, operations, finance, sales, and marketing to drive profitability and growth for the snack food product line. The General Manager will lead a team to effectively execute the business strategy and achieve annual targets. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement the strategic production plan for the snack food division to meet long-term growth and profitability goals - Oversee all day-to-day operations of manufacturing, distribution, sales, and marketing for the snack food products - Manage the division's budget and financial performance, analyzing key metrics and variances to drive continuous improvement - Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team of regional and departmental managers - Identify new market opportunities and product innovations to expand the snack food portfolio - Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, distributors and suppliers - Represent the snack food division to internal and external stakeholders, including the executive leadership team - Bachelor's degree in Food Technology from a reputed University - Minimum 18 years of progressively responsible experience in the snack food industry, with at least 5 years in a general management role - Proven track record of driving revenue growth, market share expansion and operational excellence - Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Proficient in financial analysis and budget management - Familiarity with the Zambian food and retail landscape - Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages an advantage Salary USD.5500 + USD.500 (Local Currency) + Furnished bachelor accommodation + two way annual air tickets Pl Note : Candidate having prior experience in Africa in Snack Food Industry preferred
