Job Description : IT HEAD SINGAPORE ( OPEN TO EXPATS) This role offers the opportunity to develop and implement an innovative IT vision, manage robust services, and create an exceptional employee experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure requirements globally, developing business intelligence infrastructure, and ensuring data security compliance. As the Head of Information Technology, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's IT vision. You will lead a global team that delivers robust services while creating an exceptional employee experience. Your responsibilities will include managing the global IT infrastructure requirements, developing business intelligence infrastructure to support data-driven decisions, reviewing and enhancing existing hardware and software based on changing business needs. You will also be tasked with developing IT policies, procedures, best practices and KPIs at a group level. Your ability to identify future challenges in the IT landscape and develop effective mitigation strategies will be crucial in this role. Develop the organisation's IT vision and translate it into actionable goals Lead a global team that delivers robust services and exceptional employee experience Manage the IT Infrastructure requirement globally, including but not limited to IT Assets, business applications, cloud storage, server & computer infrastructure, networking, firewall & email security etc. Develop the Business Intelligence infrastructure and services to support data-driven decisions Review, enhance, and update existing hardware, software an IT Infrastructure based on changing business needs Develop and enhance the IT policies, procedures, best practices and KPIs on a Group level Identify future challenges in the IT landscape and develop mitigation strategies Formulate and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans Lead major IT-related project initiatives, ensuring effective collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver optimal results Ensure proper control/risk management and system/data security are in place The ideal candidate for the Head of Information Technology role will hold a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline. You will bring over 10 years of IT operations and services experience, with at least 5 years spent leading and managing functions globally. Experience gained from manufacturing is highly preferable. You will demonstrate strong team management, stakeholder management and project management skills. A strong working knowledge of architecture, design, implementation, and operations using cloud-first/SaaS solutions is essential. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and managing IT Services and SLAs in a rapidly growing work environment. You will be able to operate in a cross-functional / matrix environment spanning multiple time zones and will be willing to be hands-on and actively involved in driving initiatives across the team. Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline 18+ years of IT operations and services experience with a minimum of 5+ years leading and managing functions globally. Experience gained from manufacturing is highly preferable Strong team management, stakeholder management and project management skills Strong working knowledge of architecture, design, implementation, and operations using cloud-first/SaaS solutions Proven track record of developing and managing IT Services and SLAs in a rapidly growing work environment Ability to operate in a cross-functional / matrix environment spanning multiple time zones Willingness to be hands-on and get actively involved in driving initiatives across the team Experience in running 2 ERP Cycles end to end Good experience in IT security
