Supply Chain Head

Job Description : SUPPLY HEAD ZIMBABWE a dynamic and strategic Head of Supply to lead their supply chain operations for their small scale satellite site processing plant, based out of Harare. Salary: Negotiable Responsibilities: Understand and oversee all supply streams, ensuring a steady supply to the processing plant. Monitor supply targets, identify dips, investigate causes, and implement corrective actions. Manage and regularly meet with the supply team, coordinating strategies and ensure clear communication across sections. Plan to significantly expand the supply team, ensuring new members are welltrained and eKective in their roles. Constantly assess and address bottlenecks and inefficiencies, particularly in transport and equipment. Work closely with the data team to leverage insights for better decisionmaking. Analyse and understand the contributions and trajectories of various supply streams. Focus on the holistic overview of supply from key areas, adapting strategies as mining conditions and outputs evolve. Evaluate the value of different areas/customers based on production data, identifying high-potential regions/customers for targeted development/investment. Justifying these decisions with robust data. Build relationships with miners, identifying high performers and supporting them with equipment and capital investments. Ensure that sponsorship and support programs are effectively enhancing production. Implement already present sponsorship protocols and investment strategies based on detailed performance and potential growth analysis. Coordinate with data analysts to assess the return on investment for largescale/small scale sponsorships/investments, backed by clear data insights. Utilize external data tracking and field data gathered by company representatives to react swiftly to trends. Use data to identify high-value suppliers and areas, guiding sponsorship assessments and large-scale investment decisions. Set clear targets for field representatives to ensure thorough data collection and accurate reporting of production activities. Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the mining industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset. Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. Familiarity with artisanal mining operations and custom milling processes. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
