Job Description : HR HEAD ZAMBIA . This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of our client. Act as a strategic advisor to the executive team on all HR matters, providing insights and recommendations to support business goals. Drive organizational development and change management initiatives to support the company's growth and transformation. Oversee the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent. Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to integrate new employees into the company. Manage talent development programs, including performance management, training, and career development initiatives. Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement, satisfaction, and productivity. Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention. Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) programs to ensure a diverse and inclusive workforce. Design and oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and aligned with industry standards. Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure the company remains competitive in attracting and retaining talent. Manage employee recognition and rewards programs. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support compliance and mitigate risk. Oversee employee relations and resolve conflicts and issues in a fair and consistent manner. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. Utilize HR analytics to provide insights and data-driven recommendations to the executive team. Implement HR technology solutions to streamline processes and improve overall HR efficiency. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Deep understanding of HR best practices and employment laws. Proficiency in HR software and analytics tools. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in the fintech industry or a similar high-growth, fast-paced environment. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business goals.
