Job Description : PLANT MANAGER ZIMBABWE FOR CITRUS JUICING highly skilled and experienced Citrus Juicing Plant Manager to lead the operations of our citrus processing plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and extensive experience in fruit processing, particularly in a citrus plant environment. This role requires in-depth knowledge of various processes involved in juice extraction and concentration. Responsibilities: Technical Management: Oversee all processes within the citrus juicing plant, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Manage the broiler and ensure optimal performance of all equipment. Supervise water purification processes to maintain high-quality standards. Oversee the extraction of juice, evaporation of the juice, and aseptic filling of drums. Operational Leadership: Act as a pilot for the operations, leading by example and setting high standards. Implement and maintain global GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) standards within the plant. Experience and Expertise: Minimum of 5 years experience in fruit processing, with a focus on citrus. Proven track record of working in a citrus plant to produce juice concentrate. Deep understanding of the technical aspects of juice processing, including equipment operation and maintenance. Quality Control: Ensure all processes comply with industry regulations and company standards. Maintain high levels of product quality and safety throughout the production process. Technical proficiency in plant operations and equipment management. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field. At least 15 years of experience in a similar role within the fruit processing industry. Strong knowledge of citrus fruit processing and juice concentration. Excellent technical skills, with the ability to manage and troubleshoot complex equipment. Experience with aseptic processing and filling techniques.
