Job Description : OPERATIONS HEAD NIGERIA 25+ years experience We are seeking a highly experienced Operation Head to oversee the efficient functioning of our Beneficiation Plant and Pellet Plant located in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering (B.Tech) and have accumulated at least 18 years of progressive experience in managing operations within similar industrial settings. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the Beneficiation Plant and Pellet Plant. Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment. Team Management: Provide strong leadership to a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth. Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize operational expenditures. Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control measures to maintain high standards of product quality and consistency. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering (B.Tech) or equivalent. Minimum 18 years of experience in operations management within the beneficiation and pelletization sectors. Proven track record in leading large-scale operations, preferably within the mining or mineral processing industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for process optimization. Excellent leadership abilities with a demonstrated capacity to manage and motivate teams. Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
