Job Description : Head of Tender and Contracts Salary Budget : To be discussed during interview Job Location : Dubai Industry Type: Engineering Services Qualification : - Bachelors of Civil Engineering, Master's degree is a plus factor. - Professional Affiliations pertaining to Quantity Surveying preferable. (E.g. Member, Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB), Fellow, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). - An ideal candidate must have at least 20 years of experience in tendering and contracting, with a proven track record of successfully managing large and complex contracts in Large firms. - As the Head of Tender and Contracts Department, responsible for managing the entire tendering and contracting process, ensuring compliance with company policies, and negotiating contracts with clients and suppliers. Job Responsibilities: - Develop and implement tendering and contracting strategies, policies, and procedures - Oversee the entire tendering and contracting process, from pre-qualification to contract award and closeout. - Experience in the construction, engineering, or oil and gas industry is a plus. - Ability to lead and manage a team of professionals. - Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers, ensuring that all terms and conditions are favorable to the company. - Prepare reports and presentations on tendering and contracting activities for senior management. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to tendering and contracting Ability to Evaluate payment application, Time Extension claim, Variations, Final Accounts, Cost estimation, Feasibility study. Advising the Employer type of procurement strategy. Answering queries during Tender. Processing Tender for Prime Cost items and provisional sum. Supporting Project Management Team. Contracts administration and Termination of Contract (when the need arises).
