Procurement Head

Job Description : PROCUREMENT HEAD UAE We are looking for an experienced Procurement head with a minimum of 15 years experience in UAE to manage the companys supply of products and services. The incumbent will be responsible for drive sourcing at group level and implement best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people. Role & responsibilities • Developing structured strategic sourcing strategy and methodologies resulting to cost saving Ensuring adherence to procurement policies and procedures are in line with the company objects & policy Creation and management of short, mid and long-term goals and objectives Allocation and management of procurement budget for Al Hamra Group Selection and management of procurement systems Management of key suppliers locally and globally and will have key role in identifying, onboarding, auditing and developing the partners Ensuring all audit observations and recommendations are implemented Preparing and presenting MIS dashboards & reports to senior management Centralized procurement of all business functions (Projects, FM, IT, Admin, Marketing, F&B) Management of procurement staff in sourcing, contracting, transactional purchasing, supplier management, and miscellaneous internal procurement support activities Managing the skills and competency development of procurement staff Building a Procurement Center of Excellence Procurement to Projects (Residential, commercial, Hospitality, Fit out projects, Infrastructure) Tender Management Recommendation and award to main contractors and sub-contractors Pre-contract management Value Engineering Strategic Procurement of PS (Provisional Sum) & PC (Prime Cost) items/packages Cost/ Budget control Procurement to Facilities Management (Hard and Soft FM) All types of Hard and soft AMC management All types of repairs and maintenance Strategic initiatives for utilities/ FM improvement works Procurement to General Functions (HR & Admin, marketing and IT) Fleet management Fuel Management Insurance management (Medical & General Life Insurance) All types of direct and indirect marketing spends All types of IT spends (Hardware and software) • 15+ years of procurement experience in UAE real estate industry (Developer or diversified group). • Must have experience in the GCC market • Must have experience in Projects, FM & General procurement • Must have demonstrated strong cost saving sourcing methodologies • Must have SAP knowledge of relevant module include MM is mandatory • Must have working knowledge of finance and/or accounting in terms of budgeting, cost management, financial accounting, treasury, risk management AGE- Max 45
