Vice President Supply Chain and Manufacturing

Job Description : VP SUPPLY CHAIN AND MANUFACTURING MUMBAI INDIA 25+ years experience A huge Business Conglomerate wishes to hire the Head of Supply Chain for the Indian Subcontinent of it largest business into Chemicals & lubricants . - The company has large number of product categories multiple manufacturing sites and a robust sales & distribution network. - The role would encompass complete supply chain management - manufacturing operations , complete planning, logistics and customer management for India and operations from India. The incumbent would spearhead : 1. Developing Supply Chain strategy to maximize efficiency , customer satisfaction and leverage costs 2. Oversee: - Demand/Supply Planning - Logistics and warehouse management. - Procurement & Manufacturing operations 3. Process Capability improvements and enhancement in productivity in warehouse operations /logistics . 4. Spearhead Automation projects. 5. People Management - Lead a team of Category Planning heads, logistics , Warehouse and inventory head, Manufacturing head. - We invite applications from BE, MBA with a 20+ years of experience. - Having adequate experience in heading Supply Chain and S&OP planning in a large manufacturing and sales organisation. - Must have had exposure in every facet of Supply Chain management & planning - Must have done direct Manufacturing stints during his/her career or overseen manufacturing operations. The applicant should have had multiple stints in various domains of supply chain : - Logistics & Customer service - Warehouse operations - Inventory planning - Demand/Supply Planning Also including stints at manufacturing plants - handling raw and packaging material planning , regional offices and contract sites coordinating with multiple teams across geographies and functions. - He /she should have worked in leadership roles in FMCG /PAINTS/LUBRICANT companies having diverse product portfolio , large number of SKUs and complex logistics operations.
