30 yearsJob Description : COO CHEMICAL PLANT INDIA 30+ years experience Chief Operating Officer (COO) Location: SUPA, Ahmednagar, India Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Managing Director Key Responsibilities: - End-to-End Supply Chain Management: Oversee and optimize the entire product supply chain , ensuring efficient production, quality control, and timely delivery to customers. - Team Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Plant Heads and their respective teams in SUPA and Badlapur, covering production planning, manufacturing, quality assurance, human resources, finance, and environmental health and safety. - Sales and Business Development: Collaborate with the sales teams drive revenue growth and market expansion. Leverage market insights to identify new opportunities and enhance customer relationships. - Operational Excellence: Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes and supply chain functions. - Employee Integration: Manage the integration of employees from SUPA and Badlapur plants into the unified company. - Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of long-term strategic plans aligning with Group's global strategies and industry trends. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Leadership Experience: At least 25 years of proven track record in senior leadership roles within the manufacturing or chemicals industry, with experience in managing diverse teams and driving operational excellence. - Education: Ideal candidate would have a degree in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent) and preferably full-time qualification of master's in business administration from premier business institute. - Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with business objectives, market dynamics, and customer needs. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners. - Change Management: Experience in managing organizational change, particularly related to integration projects and cultural alignment. - Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the specialty chemicals industry, including coatings and industrial applications, would be advantageous.
