Security Manager

Job Description : SECURITY MANAGER PORT HARCOURT, NIGERIA FOR OIL AND GAS 15+ years experience Periodically conduct country and regional threat assessments. Ensure that arrangements are in place for the completion of security risk assessments, including, where appropriate, technical surveys in respect of the security arrangements. 1. Project security planning in line with the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) standards and the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR). 2. Review all security and emergency response related documentation annually or after a major security breach or change. 3. Overall management of security within CPP's perimeter of responsibility. Controlling the implementation of the security measures. include but not limited to access control, vehicle monitoring management, site material management, awareness training, drills, security alerts and warnings, journey management and emergency response management. 4. Understand, develop and manage implementation of a security management system complying with the IOGP and VPSHR standards, and all national laws and regulations. 5. The Security Manager shall also ensure that the Client and CPP's security requirements are understood and implemented by all employees, subcontractors and their staff. Be responsible for reviewing the qualifications of the security service providers. 6. The Security Manager shall gather all the information relevant for security and prepare the situational reporting to be shared with the management and operational teams. 7. Chair a recorded weekly security meeting with the Security Leads for the sharing of information, progress on corrective actions and any other security related tasks. 8. Liaise and communicate with the Security Leads to provide them with ongoing support. 9. Assist in the coordination of Emergency Response, Country Evacuation Response and Country Crisis Response functions. 10. Regularly review compliance of the contracted security service providers. Raise awareness on non-compliance matters and issue corrective actions requests as necessary and ensure rectification measures are timeously implemented. Coordinate the security efforts across all CPP locations, ensuring that lessons leamt, and corrective actions are shared at each facility.
