12 yearsJob Description : COMMERCIAL FINANCE MANAGER AUCKLAND NEW ZEALAND Role is open to International candidates As a Commercial Finance Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving the delivery of strategic objectives by partnering with Sales and Marketing teams. You will be responsible for leading finance and commercial inputs to support integrated business planning processes. Your ability to lead commercial reviews of key categories will be crucial in identifying areas of risk or opportunity. You will also prepare New Product Development (NPD) P&Ls, monitor performance against business case/budget assumptions, and ensure robust processes are in place for Trade Promotional Spend. Partner with the Sales and Marketing team to drive the delivery of strategic objectives & provide commercial management across new business opportunities & risk mitigation Lead finance and commercial inputs to support integrated business planning process for the Sales and Marketing Functions Lead commercial reviews of key categories; challenge the business around areas of risk/opportunity Provide insightful analysis into business performance and identification of opportunities to drive improvements Prepare New Product Development “NPD” P&L’s challenging key assumptions and validating costs. Monitor performance of NPD, Sales Initiatives, Tenders, and/or other relevant projects versus business case/budget assumptions. Provide financial leadership and contribute to the creation of the business team promotional plan ensuring financial outcomes deliver our short- and long-term objectives Ensure robust processes and controls are in place for Trade Promotional Spend. The ideal candidate for this Commercial Finance Manager position will have a degree in Commerce or Finance along with 12+ years experience in commercial finance, preferably within manufacturing/FMCG. Proficiency in BI tools, SAP, Excel, and financial modelling is essential. You will be a strategic thinker with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Your ability to manage competing deadlines, coupled with an excellent understanding of Sales, Trading Terms, Importing and Supply Chain dynamics will set you apart. Strong planning and forecasting process management is also desired. Degree in Commerce or Finance (Essential); CA/CPA or MBA (Desired) 12+ years in commercial finance, preferably in manufacturing/FMCG Proficiency in BI tools, SAP, Excel, and financial modelling Strategic thinker with strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage competing deadlines Excellent understanding of Sales, Trading Terms, Importing and Supply Chain dynamics. Strong planning and forecasting process management
