Job Description : IT HEAD LONDON UK Role is open to International candidates who are suitably qualified and eligible a global leader in trading, transporting and distributing essential LPG solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of IT to lead their London and US IT functions. The ideal candidate: LPG/LNG firm experience Experience in fast-paced environments Experience with commodities (LPG/LNG) trading systems support Entrepreneurial mindset with a high degree of flexibility – willing to wear multiple hats This role offers an attractive salary range of £90,000 - £100,000 base with an incredible discretionary bonus. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the network architecture is fit for purpose, secure, and that the availability of IT and business systems is maintained at or close to 100%. This role also includes contributing to the development of Group IT policies, managing IT-related subscriptions and costs, and leading a team of IT professionals. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that our network architecture is robust, secure, and fit for purpose. You will also be tasked with maintaining the reliability of our business systems. Your role will extend beyond technical responsibilities as you will also contribute to policy development within the Group's IT function. You will have a hands-on approach in managing IT-related subscriptions and costs while acting as a Project Manager for system upgrades. Your leadership skills will be put to use as you manage a team of IT professionals. Design, specify and maintain the company's network architecture Ensure the reliability and security of the network and hosted business systems Contribute to maintaining and developing Group IT policies including cyber security and data privacy Periodically review and audit all subsidiaries to ensure compliance with our policies Manage and control IT related subscriptions and associated costs Act as Project Manager to deliver upgrades in an orderly manner, minimizing disruption and downtime to the company Design, test, and document plans to address adverse scenarios such as cyber intrusion/theft, data privacy breaches, and business interruptions Manage and develop IT team members while establishing good relationships across external and internal stakeholders As the ideal candidate for this Head of IT position, you bring a wealth of experience in managing Wintel servers, Microsoft, and Cisco technologies. You possess relevant qualifications in IT along with proven vendor management skills. Your working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure Active Directory, Windows 10, Office 2016, and Office 365 will be crucial in this role. You are also familiar with Cisco firewall/switches/CUCM, Microsoft Server 2012 and 2016 and HyperV. Above all, you are proactive, able to work autonomously and possess a strong sense of responsibility. Basic Degree in IT with relevant IT certifications In-depth knowledge and management experience of Wintel servers, Microsoft, and Cisco technologies Proven vendor management skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure Active Directory, Windows 10, Office 2016, and Office 365. Working knowledge of Cisco firewall/switches/CUCM, Microsoft Server 2012 and 2016 and HyperV. Ability to work proactively, autonomously with a strong sense of responsibility
