General Manager

Job Description : GM AUTO ZIMBABWE Job Summary: The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our 2-wheeler and 3-wheeler distribution business in the country This includes strategic planning, operations management, sales, marketing, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving business growth. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives. Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes. Lead and manage the sales team to drive sales growth and achieve targets. Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and market share. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and customers. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies. Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee development. Recruit a Large Local team to support the operation. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus. Minimum of 18 years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role. Basic Knowledge of Portuguese Language is a must. Proven experience in managing a distribution business Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in financial management and budgeting. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
