Group Finance Controller

As the Group Finance Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, managing financial operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional with a robust background in finance and accounting. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee all aspects of financial management, including banking, treasury, taxation, finance & accounts, and Management Information Systems (MIS). - Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. - Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to enhance operational efficiency. - Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with financial goals and objectives. - Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making. - Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards. - Lead and mentor the finance team to foster professional development and growth. Qualifications: - Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant/ equivalent qualifications. - Proven experience in a similar role within Nigeria's manufacturing and trading business. - Strong banking, treasury, taxation, finance & accounts, and MIS knowledge. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. - Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
