Operations Manager

Job Description : OPERATIONS MANAGER INJECTION AND BLOW MOLDING LIBERIA 15-20 years experience Reporting to the Plant Manager you will be responsible for managing the all the operations activities within the injection and blow molding plant (headcount 95). You will serve as coach and mentor to a developing staff while performing the following duties. Responsibilities: Lead, manage and develop plant employees to assure the necessary capabilities and culture are in place to maintain and improve a “Center of Excellence” operation In conjunction with the Plant Manager, establish and manage activities to meet / exceed short- and long-term plant goals Lead in the development of a plant safety culture with a focus on developing an employee led safety focus program Manage production efforts to meet service, quality and cost goals Manage implementation of continuous improvement projects and programs Establish and manage cost reduction strategies and activities Manage plant technology, innovations, and project strategy in combination with product management and technology leaders Maintain communication with customers (internal/external) and provide technical support as required Requirements: Must be located or willing to relocate Bachelor’s Degree; Engineering Degree is preferred Minimum of 7 years of increasing responsibility in a manufacturing environment Successful track record in managing large teams of >50 employees Demonstrated ability to prioritize and make timely decisions Previous experience in managing employee safety Solid project planning and management skills, using standard project management tools
