Planning Head

Job Description : PLANNING H EAD DUBAI to oversee and optimize our production planning across multiple units in Kenya and Ethiopia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in apparel manufacturing, particularly in woven and knit garments, and a proven track record in production planning and process improvement. Key Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and analyze total factory capacity plans, production plans and order allocation to perform accurate forecast and arrangement 2. Coordinate with Factory GMS & Production managers and other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and timely delivery of products. 3. Provide order loading reports and order loading simulations to support and aid management in decision making 4. Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. 5. Oversee the integration of planning systems and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 6. Monitor and manage production capacity, addressing any constraints or bottlenecks that may impact operations. 7. Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and cost control measures. 8. Research and analyze the sales trend, tolerances and variances to support the forecast 9. Liaise with Merchant Teams to provide accurate input flows and garment delivery timelines required for factory production planning 10. Liaise with Buyer's Production Teams to provide weekly updates on production status 11. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of planning professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. 12. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into planning processes to maintain a competitive edge. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. 2. At least 10 years of experience in production planning, analytics matrix design, risk estimation, data controlling and data management 3. Strong background in industrial engineering principles and their application in a manufacturing setting. 4. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficient in planning software and systems, with a solid understanding of data analysis and reporting. 5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. What We Offer: 1.
