Job Description : Logistics Manager Job Location : - Al Ain Mills _ UAE Branches Key Responsibilities: * Logistics Planning and Coordination: - Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to optimise efficiency and minimise costs. - Coordinate and plan logistics operations for Al Ain Mills facilities in Ajman, Fujairah, and Sharjah. * Supply Chain Management: - Oversee the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods. - Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to enhance supply chain performance. * Transportation Management: - Manage the transportation network, including fleet coordination and route optimisation. - Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and monitor the performance of logistics service providers. - Ensure all deliveries reach customers on time as scheduled. - Oversee a fleet of 100+ vehicles, including trailers, heavy, and light vehicles. - Implement plans and procedures to reduce costs and enhance efficiency. * Team Leadership: - Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and training as needed. - Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the logistics department. * Performance Analysis and Reporting: - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess logistics performance and identify areas for improvement. - Prepare regular reports on logistics activities, costs, and efficiency metrics. Qualifications and Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - Proven experience in logistics management, with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role, especially in the food manufacturing industry. - Strong knowledge of logistics processes, supply chain management, and transportation regulations. - Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication and leadership abilities. - Familiarity with the UAE logistics landscape is a plus.
