Job Description : REGIONAL RETAIL DIRECTOR MALAYSIA A new Regional Retail Director position has just been made available with a global retail company based here in Malaysia. This position is also open for expatriates to explore with the regional coverage experiences, preferably SEA/APAC region. Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Retail Director to oversee retail operations across multiple countries. This high-level role involves managing the profit and loss of stores, strategically setting the right SOPs at the regional level, and working closely with the senior management team to ensure consistent growth for the region. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the future of retail in these markets, making a significant impact on the company's success. Oversee retail operations across multiple countries Manage P&L of stores and set strategic SOPs Work closely with senior management to drive regional growth As a Regional Retail Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our client's retail landscape across multiple countries. You will be responsible for overseeing all retail operations, including managing Heads of Retail in each country. Your key responsibilities will include managing the profit and loss of stores, setting strategic SOPs at a regional level, and working closely with the senior management team to drive growth. Your ability to review and analyse performance metrics will be crucial in identifying areas for improvement and developing effective strategies. Manage and oversee retail operations across several countries Directly manage Heads of Retail in each country Responsible for managing the profit and loss of stores Strategically set and implement standard operating procedures at a regional level Work closely with the senior management team to ensure consistent growth for the region Regularly review and analyse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them The ideal candidate for this Regional Retail Director role will bring a wealth of experience from within the retail industry. You will have proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of retail operations and P&L management. Your excellent leadership skills will enable you to manage large teams across different locations, while your ability to set strategic SOPs will ensure effective implementation. Your strong analytical skills will allow you to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies. Excellent communication skills are also essential, as you'll be liaising regularly with senior management. Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry Regional experience especially within the SEA/APAC region is highly recommended Strong understanding of retail operations and P&L management Excellent leadership skills with experience managing large teams across different locations Ability to set strategic SOPs and implement them effectively Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with senior management
